Shojin announces new board member and advisor

The board of Shojin, after undertaking an extensive search, is pleased to announce the appointment of Wayne Hiley as board member and advisor to the company with effect from 1st November 2024.
Wayne has more than 20 years of experience in the corporate debt market. Between 2010 and 2020, Wayne led several lending businesses at Barclays, including Debt Structuring across the UK Corporate Bank.

Prior to 2010, Wayne raised over £200bn of debt capital for global organisations from European and Asian institutional investors whilst leading Corporate Bond Syndicate at Barclays. More recently, Wayne has supported several fast-growing UK businesses in Board and Advisory positions, including the regulated fractional investment platform TheCarCrowd.

We welcome Wayne to Shojin. In addition to his Board and Risk Committee roles, Wayne will focus on working with the Lending Origination team to help drive sustainable growth for the organisation.
